How to Play

Complete walkthrough of the D&D Adventure with DM Aiden demo experience. This 12-15 minute adventure takes you through a 4-room dungeon escape with guaranteed success mechanics.

Getting Started

  1. Connect: Click "Connect to DM Aiden" on the main interface
  2. Allow Microphone: Grant microphone permissions when prompted
  3. Listen: DM Aiden will provide a dramatic introduction
  4. Respond: Say "Yes, I'm ready" to begin the adventure

Room 1: Prison Cell

Objective

Escape from your prison cell and begin the adventure.

Walkthrough

1. Character Creation

  • DM Aiden will ask if you're ready to begin
  • Say: "Yes, I'm ready"
  • A character creation popup will appear
  • The voice call pauses while you create your character
  • Select your race, class, and name using the interface
  • Click "Create Character" to continue

2. Prison Cell Exploration

  • Listen to the room description
  • Interact with the environment using voice commands:
    • "Search the room" - Look for hidden items
    • "Force the door open" - Try to break down the door

3. Skill Checks

  • When prompted, say: "Roll a dice" or "Roll a d20"
  • DM Aiden will announce the result and outcome
  • Success leads to finding an escape route

4. Progress

  • After successfully escaping, say: "Continue onward"
  • DM Aiden will transition you to the next room

Voice Commands

  • "Yes, I'm ready" (triggers character creation)
  • "Search the room"
  • "Force the door open"
  • "Roll a dice" / "Roll a d20"
  • "Continue onward"

Room 2: Guard Room

Objective

Defeat the goblin guard and obtain the key.

Walkthrough

1. Guard Encounter

  • DM Aiden describes the goblin guard
  • You can choose your approach:
    • "Attack the goblin" - Start combat immediately

2. Combat System

  • Initiative: Roll for turn order
  • Your Turn:
    • "Attack the goblin" - Make an attack roll
    • "Roll a d20" - For attack rolls and damage
  • Enemy Turn: DM Aiden controls the goblin's actions

3. Combat Commands

  • "Roll for initiative" - Determine turn order
  • "Attack the goblin" - Standard attack
  • "Roll a d20" - For all dice rolling needs

4. Victory

  • After defeating the goblin, say: "Take the key"
  • DM Aiden will confirm you've obtained the chamber key

Combat Tips

  • The goblin has low health (demo-optimized)

Room 3: Locked Chamber

Objective

Solve the riddle to unlock the final chamber.

Walkthrough

1. Chamber Entrance

  • DM Aiden describes the mystical chamber with an inscription

2. The Riddle

  • Listen carefully to the riddle: "What has 20 sides and helps adventurers decide fate?"

3. Solving the Puzzle

  • Correct Answer: "d20" or "A d20" or "Twenty-sided die"
  • Alternative: "Use key number 20" (if confused)

4. Progressive Hints If you're stuck, DM Aiden provides hints:

  • First hint: "Think about what adventurers roll..."
  • Second hint: "It has many faces, like a gem..."
  • Final hint: "The number of sides is in the answer..."

5. Success

  • Correct answer unlocks the chamber
  • Proceed to the final escape room

Room 4: Escape Route

Objective

Navigate ancient traps and escape to freedom.

Walkthrough

1. Trap Detection

  • DM Aiden describes the dangerous escape route
  • Say: "Look for traps" or "Move carefully"

2. Skill Challenges Multiple skill checks are required:

  • Investigation: "Roll for Investigation"
  • Acrobatics: "Roll for Acrobatics"
  • Perception: "Roll for Perception"

3. Navigation

  • Follow DM Aiden's guidance based on your rolls
  • Use voice commands to indicate your actions:
    • "Disarm the trap"
    • "Move to the stairs"

4. Final Escape

  • Say: "Climb the stairs" to reach the exit
  • Enjoy the victory celebration!
